Cycling legend launches new podcast ‘Sir Bradley Wiggins’ Café Aficionado’
Britain’s first ever Tour de France winner and eight-time Olympic medalist Sir Bradley Wiggins launches a new cycling podcast.
Sir Bradley Wiggins and production company Atomized Studios, today announced the launch of a new cycling podcast Sir Bradley Wiggins’ Café Aficionado – a new cycling podcast hosted on Sport Social Podcast Network. The podcast is a destination for sports fans to come together and explore the magic, history, and incredible stories, from the sport of cycling and its greatest road races. Co-presented by his good friend, broadcaster and cycling journalist Graham Willgoss.
In the series the duo will be joined by some of the sports’ greats including Geraint Thomas, Chris Froome, Mark Cavendish and Pippa York taking a deep dive into the history of the most iconic road races - Tour de France, Giro d’Italia and Vuelta a España - revealing the stories, mythology and magic of each great stage, and much more from the world of cycling.
Expect entertainment, sporting history, unique insights and compelling new perspectives in equal measure. This is a podcast you can return to again and again.
Episodes 1 and 2 launched on Tuesday 24 June, with special guests Geraint Thomas and cycling journalist Chris Sidwells. Brad, Geraint and Graham roll through how Geraint conquered Alpe d’Huez in the Yellow Jersey on his way to winning the Tour. And they remember Chris Sidwells’ uncle, the late, great Tom Simpson – Britain’s first road world champion, who lost his life on Mont Ventoux. New episodes will be launched weekly from Tuesday 1 July.
“I’m excited to be back behind the mic with Graham discussing all things cycling. I'm re-discovering my love for the sport that gave me everything, and I'm looking forward to unearthing the stories we’ve never heard before from some of the greats.”

“Think of our new podcast as if you were stopping at your favourite cycling cafe, sharing some stories and having a giggle – only you can do it with us alongside some of the greatest riders and biggest names in the history of the sport. Get the flat whites in.”
