The Final Word Cricket podcast picked up the coveted 'Best Sport Podcast' at the 2024 Australian Sports Commission Awards earlier this week to add to their ever-growing list of accolades.
Hosts Geoff Lemon and Adam Collins have been hosting the popular podcast for almost 10 years, establishing themselves as one of the leading cricket podcasts on the market since launching during the 2015 Ashes series in England.
Their informative and entertaining style, combined with countless high-profile guests have ensured the Aussie pair rip through the charts much like Australia's top order does to England's bowling attack in the majority of Ashes series'.
This hard work has clearly not gone unnoticed by the ASC and the award reflects the work that the team continuously put in to their product.
The Final Word Cricket Podcast joined Sport Social back in June 2022 and has racked up millions of downloads since. The show continues to feature prominently in the cricket podcast charts and we’re sure it will continue to do so as we head into another busy year of cricket.
